Career Academy
Los Mesteños Career Academy (LMCA) was founded in 2008 to address the region's high unemployment and poverty rates that existed despite the severe shortage of skilled workers being experienced by area employers.
LMCA constantly creates initiatives to meet these challenges, which remain today, by providing certifiable training in high-demand vocational, technical and medical fields.
LMCA is sponsored by the Rural South Texas Economic Development Corporation.
